Cluster Rush

Cluster Rush is a truck-jumping reflex game. You ride on top of speeding trucks and hop to the next one before the stack falls apart. Press Play in the frame, then jump.

What Is Cluster Rush?

The trucks drive at different speeds and change lanes. You stand on the roof. A jump carries you to another roof. Missing the roof, or riding a truck that crashes, ends the run. There is no steer for a vehicle of your own. The trucks are the moving floor.

Speed and chaos rise together. Early hops are between two trucks that stay in view. Later the stack is taller, the lane changes are ruder, and a truck you trusted slows down under you.

Cluster Rush is a cousin of endless runners, except the floor is traffic. You are always one hop from a truck that is about to leave.

How to Play

Open the frame and click once inside Cluster Rush so the player receives the pointer. Press Play if needed. Press Space or click to jump. Time the hop while the next roof still overlaps your truck. Jumping early lands in the gap. Jumping late means the target has already slid away. You cannot brake the truck you are on. Choose another roof instead. Click the frame if Space is ignored.

Features

Cluster Rush makes traffic into a platform course. Three parts explain the crashes.

Roofs as platforms

You do not drive. You pick which moving roof to stand on, and you leave before that truck wrecks or drops behind.

Uneven speeds

A truck that matched you a second ago can fall back. Look at the gap, not at the paint, when you decide to jump.

A rising stack

More trucks mean more landing options and more ways to be in the wrong lane. Height is not safety by itself.

Tips

Jump toward a roof that is slightly ahead, not one that is only beside you. Cluster Rush moves the beside-you truck out of the landing window while you are in the air.

Leave a truck that starts to wobble or drop back. Loyalty to one vehicle is how a calm run ends.

Keep hops small when the stack is dense. A huge jump looks brave and overshoots the only roof that was actually there.

After a fall, name the truck you wanted. If you cannot, you jumped at a color, not at a landing. Pick the landing first on the next life.

FAQ

Do I need to download anything?

No. It runs in the browser frame on this page. Wait for the host Play control, press it, then use the controls under the frame.

What are the controls?

Use the control named under the player. Click the stage if an input does nothing. Fullscreen expands the frame on a desktop browser.

Is Cluster Rush hard at the start?

The first trucks stay predictably in frame. Later lane changes are abrupt. Jump to a roof that is already ahead of you.

Can I keep a run going after a mistake?

Usually a mistake ends the life or drops the score. Restart in the same frame and test one change.

A Way To Practice

Use the first minute to learn the failure, not to set a record. Play until the same mistake happens twice. Name it in a few plain words, such as too early, too late, too much speed, or the wrong target. The next attempt changes only that mistake.

Keep the frame focused. If an input dies, click the picture once and repeat the same action. Reloading the page throws away the rhythm you just found. Fullscreen helps on a small screen because the hazard is easier to see. It does not change the rules.

Stop while you can still describe the last life. A tired attempt stacks a second error on the first, and then the lesson disappears. One clean repeat is the goal of a short session. Take that repeat, then leave the frame until you want another.

Cluster Rush is a series of small hops onto roofs that are still in front of you. Leave a slowing truck early, and do not spend the airtime on a jump you did not aim.
